Introduction: Health systems worldwide are confronting new and increasingly complex challenges that undermine the effectiveness of traditional crisis‑management models. The issue of “the necessity of integrating disaster risk management into health policy documents” is more than an administrative recommendation; it is, in fact, a strategic imperative for preserving the vital functions of society during times of adversity.
