fa ارتباط هوش هیجانی و سبک تربیتی والدین با اضطراب و ترس از دندانپزشکی در کودکان 6 تا 15 ساله Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Parenting Style with Dental Fear and Anxiety in Children Aged 6 - 15 Years دندانپزشکی Dental پژوهشي Original article <div style="text-align: justify;">مقدمه: روابط کودک با دندانپزشک محصول تعاملات پیچیده بیمار، والدین و دندانپزشک می‌باشد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر هوش هیجانی و سبک تربیتی والدین برترس و اضطراب دندانپزشکی کودک انجام شده است. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی مقطعی افراد 6 تا 15 سال به همراه والد که به دانشکده دندانپزشکی شهید صدوقی یزد مراجعه کردند به روش آسان انتخاب شدند. برای سنجش اضطراب و ترس به ترتیب از پرسشنامهMCDAS و CFSS-DS و برای سنجش میزان هوش هیجانی و سبک تربیتی والدین به ترتیب از پرسشنامه Shering وBaumrind استفاده شد. داده‌ها در محیط نرم‌افزار SPSS version 17 به کامپیوتر وارد و با آزمون مربوط به آن (T_Test و ANOVA) تجزیه و تحلیل شدند. نتایج: از 120 فرد شرکت‌کننده، 39 نفر پسر و 81 نفر دختر بودند. میانگین سنی کودکان مورد بررسی2/46±9/31 سال و میانگین سنی والد آن‌ها 4/82±37/60 بود. بین سبک تربیتی والد با ترس و اضطراب دندانپزشکی کودک ( به ترتیب 0/492=P و0/769=P )و نیز بین هوش هیجانی والد با اضطراب دندانپزشکی کودک رابطه معنی‌دار وجود نداشت(0/053=P) اما بین هوش هیجانی والد با ترس دندانپزشکی کودک رابطه معکوس و معنی‌دار وجود داشت. (0/274-= r و0/003=P). نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد که سبک تربیتی والد با ترس و اضطراب دندانپزشکی کودک و نیز هوش هیجانی والدین با اضطراب دندانپزشکی کودک ارتباط معناداری نداشت اما هوش هیجانی والد با ترس دندانپزشکی کودک رابطه معکوس و معناداری داشت.  </div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Introduction: The child's relationship with the dentist is the product of complex interactions between the patient, parents, and the dentist. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence and parenting style on the child's dental anxiety and fear. Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, the patients aged 6 to 15 years with their parents who referred to Shahid Sadoughi Dental School in Yazd were selected through simple method. The MCDAS and CFSS-DS questionnaires were used to measure anxiety and fear, respectively, and the level of emotional intelligence and parenting style were measured by the Shering and Baumrind questionnaires, respectively. Data were analyzed via SPSS16, and T_Test, ANOVA were utilized. Results: Out of 120 participants, 39 were boys and 81 were girls. The mean age range of the children was 9.31 ± 2.46 years and parents' mean age was 37.60 ± 4.82. There was no significant relationship between parenting style and child's dental fear and anxiety (P=0.492 and P=0.769, respectively) and between parent's emotional intelligence and child's dental anxiety (P=0.053), but there was an inverse and significant relationship between parent's emotional intelligence and child's dental fear (r=0.274 and P=0.003).
