fa ارزیابی دانش و عملکرد خوداظهار مراقبین سلامت مدارس ابتدایی شهر ابرکوه در رابطه با مدیریت اورژانس صدمات تروماتیک دندانی Evaluation of Knowledge and Self-Reported Performance of Primary School Healthcare Providers in the City of Abarkuh City Regarding the Emergency Management of Traumatic Dental Injuries جراحی Surgery پژوهشي Original article <div style="text-align: justify;">مقدمه: صدمات دندانی دارای شیوع بالایی است و تاثیراتی منفی بر زندگی فرد میگذارد.کنترل اورژانس چنین شرایطی وابسته به دانش افراد غیرحرفهای، مانند مراقبین سلامت است که در محل حادثه حضور دارند. هدف این مطالعه بررسی سطح دانش و عملکرد مراقبین سلامت مدارس ابتدایی شهر ابرکوه در رابطه با مدیریت اورژانس صدمات تروماتیک دندانی بود. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی، پرسش‌نامه‌ای آنلاین، بدون نام حاوی سوالاتی در رابطه با اطلاعات دموگرافیک، سابقه مواجهه قبلی با صدمات تروماتیک دندانی و نیز عملکرد مراقبین در برخورد با صدمات تروماتیک دندانی در گروه‌های مجازی مربوط به مراقبین سلامت قرار گرفت و یک هفته به گروه هدف جهت تکمیل پرسش‌نامه‌ها فرصت داده شد. داده ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و توسط آزمون رگرسیون خطی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفتند. نتایج: در مجموع 189 پرسش‌نامه تکمیل شد (با درصد پاسخگویی80/77%). میانگین نمره دانش آنها از مجموع 11 نمره قابل کسب، 1/98 ± 5/63 و میانگین نمره عملکرد آنها 1/86±4/48 از مجموع 7 نمره قابل کسب بود. نتایج آنالیز رگرسیون خطی نشان داد که تنها اطلاعات قبلی مراقبین برروی سطح دانش آنها اثرگذار بوده است (0/001>p) و با تطبیق اثر متغیرهای دموگرافیک نتایج این آزمون نشان داده شد که سابقه کار مراقبین بر روی نمره دانش آنها موثر بوده است (0/009=p). اما نمره عملکرد خوداظهار مراقبین سلامت تحت تاثیر هیچ یک از متغیرهای دموگرافیک قرار نداشت. نتیجه‌گیری: : یافته‌های مطالعه حاضر بیانگر کافی نبودن سطح دانش و عملکرد خوداظهار مراقبین سلامت مدارس ابتدایی در زمینه آسیب‌های ناشی از ضربه به دندان‌ها می‌‌باشد.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Introduction: Dental injuries are very common and negatively affect an individual's life. The effective management of emergencies in such situations depends on the knowledge of non-experts, such as healthcare providers, who are on-site during the event. This study aimed to investigate the knowledge extent and self-perceived practice of healthcare providers in elementary schools in Abarkuh City regarding the emergency management of traumatic dental injuries. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study utilized an online, anonymous questionnaire designed to gather demographic information, assess the background of previous exposure to dental traumatic injuries, and evaluate caregivers' performance in managing such injuries. The questionnaire was distributed to virtual groups of healthcare providers, who had one week to complete it. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and linear regression tests. Results: A total of 189 questionnaires were filled out, resulting in a response rate of 80.77%. The average knowledge score of the respondents was 5.63 ± 1.98 out of a possible 10 points, whereas their respondents’ average performance score was 4.48 ± 1.86 on the scale of 7 points. Linear regression analysis indicated that the caregivers' previous knowledge significantly influenced their knowledge level (p < 0.001). After adjusting for demographic variables, the study revealed that caregivers' work experience positively impacted their knowledge score (p = 0.009). However, the self-reported performance ratings of healthcare providers did not show any significant correlation with demographic variables.
