fa تأثیر لاترال تارسورافی کوچک همراه با رسس عضله لواتور دربهبود رتراکشن پلک فوقانی در بیماران تیروئید اوفتالموپاتی عمومى General پژوهشي Original article مقدمه: تعیین اثر بخشی لاترال تارسورافی کوچک همراه با رسسRecess) ) عضله بالا برنده پلک در تشدید نتیجه این عمل جراحی در بیماران تیروئید اوفتالموپاتی با رتراکشن شدید پلک بالایی و اصلاح تمپورال فلیرخاص این بیماران روش بررسی: در یک مطالعه before-after clinical trial ،22 پلک از 12 بیمار که رتراکشن شدید پلک بالایی داشتند با این متد مورد عمل جراحی قرار گرفتند و ارتفاع پلکیLid Height) ) در یک پیگیری شش ماهه مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. ارتفاع پلکی قبل و بعد از عمل جراحی بر مبنای Margin Reflex Distance(MRD1) اندازه گیری و در فرم خاصی ثبت شد و مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت. تمامی این بیماران در فاز خاموش بیماری بودند و اگر عمل جراحی اوربیت و یا عضلات دور چشمی نیاز داشتند قبلاً برای آنها انجام شده بود. نتایج: پس از یک پیگیری شش ماهه، میانگین MRD1 در چشم راست از 55/0±76/7 به 32/0±86/4 میلیمتر و در چشم چپ از 64/0±81/7 به35/0±75/4 میلیمتر کاهش یافت(p Introduction: Aim of the study was to determine the efficacy of minor lateral tarsorrhaphy in conjunction with levator muscle recession in thyroid ophthalmopathic patients with severe lid retraction in order to correct the temporal flare in these patients Methods: In a before-after clinical trial study, 22 eyelids of 12 patients with severe lid retraction underwent surgery by this method and the lid height in a 6 months follow up was evaluated. Lid height before and after operation were measured on basis of Margin Reflex distance (MRD1) and recorded in a special form for analysis. All of these patients were in the silent phase of disease and if a strabismus or orbital surgery was indicated, it was performed before the study. Results: After a six months follow-up, mean MRD1 decreased in the right eye from 7.76±0.55 to 4.86±0.32 mm and in the left eye from 7.81±0.64 to 4.75±0.35mm (p<0.0001). In all patients, satisfactory response was achieved and corneal surface discomfort was relieved. No serious complication was seen. Conclusion: Minor lateral tarsorrhaphy in conjunction with levator recession procedure in thyroid ophthalmic patients can have satisfactory results and result in correction of temporal flare.
