fa میزان شیوع اختلال بدشکلی بدن در نوجوانان دختر یزد روانشناسی Psychology پژوهشي Original article مقدمه: اختلال بدشکلی بدن یکی از اختلالات شایع دوران نوجوانی است که در آن نوجوانان به توجه بیش از اندازه افراد به ظاهر تمرکز دارند و باعث مختل شدن زندگی فردی و اجتماعی آنها می‌گردد. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی میزان شیوع اختلال بدشکلی بدن در نوجوانان دختر شهر یزد است. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه، توصیفی-مقطعی، 371 دانش‌آموز دختر مقطع متوسطه شهر یزد در سال تحصیلی 92-1391 مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند که این تعداد با استفاده از فرمول کوکران و روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند و پرسشنامه وسواس فکری ـ عملی ییل براون برای اختلال بدشکلی بدن و یک سری سئوالات جمعیّت‌شناختی را تکمیل کردند. نتایج: 41% از افراد گروه نمونه دارای نگرانی‌های نامتعارف در خصوص شکل ظاهری و بدن، در طیف ضعیف تا خیلی شدید بودند که بیشترین افراد شدت متوسطی از اختلال را تجربه می‌کردند و 1/7% دارای اختلال بدشکلی بدن شدید بودند که نیازمند مداخله روان‌شناختی فوری بودند. میزان شیوع در نوجوانان دختر، 1/7% برآورد شد و شایع‌ترین سن ابتلا، 17 سالگی بود. نتیجه‌گیری: در این پژوهش تلاش شد تا با بهره‌گیری از روش‌شناسی دقیق، تصویر واقع‌بینانه‌تری نسبت به اختلال بدشکلی بدن در نوجوانان شهر یزد ارائه شود. با توجه به شیوع نسبتاً بالای این اختلال در نوجوانان دختر و پیامدها و عوارض نامطلوب آن توصیه می‌شود برنامه‌هایی در جهت شناسایی و درمان زودرس اختلال بدشکلی بدن در جهت اعتلای بهداشت روانی نوجوانان ارائه گردد. Introduction: Body dysmorphic disorder is one of the common disorders in which adolescents give excessive attention to their appearances. In fact, it may causes disruptions in adolescents' individual and social life. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the prevalence of body dysmorphic disorder in female adolescents of Yazd. Method: In this cross-sectional study, the population consisted of all high school female students of Yazd (N= 10737) in 2012-2013, among which 371 students were selected as the study sample by using Cochran formula and cluster sampling method. Moreover, the participants completed a series of demographic questions as well as the questionnaire of Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale-Body Dysmorphic Disorder (Y-BOCS-BDD). Results: The findings revealed that 41% of sample were reported to have unusual concern about appearance and body shape in range of low to very severe. As a matter of fact, most of them experienced moderate severity and 7.1% showed severe body dysmorphic disorder that required immediate psychological intervention. The prevalence in female adolescents was estimated as 7.1% and most prevalent age of suffering was 17. Conclusion: In this research, it was endeavored to provide a more realistic image of body dysmorphic disorder in Yazd adolescents by utilizing a precise methodology.
