fa مقایسه شاخص‌های رشد کودکان پنج ساله با و بدون سابقه کم وزنی موقع تولد عمومى General پژوهشي Original article مقدمه: کم وزنی نوزاد در موقع تولد(LBW یا وزن کمتر از 2500 گرم) از جدی‌ترین مشکلات کودکان جهان امروز می‌باشد. این تحقیق به منظور بررسی و مقایسه شاخص‌های رشد(وزن، قد ، دور سر و BMI) کودکان پنج ساله با سابقه کم وزنی موقع تولد با کودکان دارای وزن تولد طبیعی(NBW یا وزن2500 تا 4000 گرم) صورت گرفت. روش بررسی: در یک مطالعه مقطعی تحلیلی، کودکان پنج ساله‌ای که از دی 87 لغایت اردیبهشت 88 به مرکز بهداشتی درمانی آزادشهر یزد مراجعه کرده بودند، از نظر شاخص‌های رشد بررسی شدند. کودکان با وزن موقع تولد طبیعی به عنوان گروه شاهد و کودکان با وزن کم موقع تولد(کمتر از2500 گرم) به عنوان گروه مورد انتخاب شدند. نتایج: میانگین تمامی شاخص‌های رشد درگروه NBW در سنین مختلف با اختلاف معنی‌داری بیشتر ازگروه LBW بود. فراوانی کم وزنی شدید و کوتاه قدی در کودکان پنج ساله با سابقه کم وزنی موقع تولد، بیشتر بود. فراوانی لاغری در کودکان گروه LBW بیش از گروه NBW و فراوانی چاقی در گروه NBW بیشتر بود و فراوانی لاغری در دختران با سابقه کم وزن هنگام تولد بیش از پسران بود. نتیجه‌گیری: باتوجه به اینکه رشد کودکان LBW در 5 سال اول بعد از تولد آهسته‌تر ازکودکان NBW می‌باشد لازم است براهمیت پایش رشد کودکان LBW تأکید بیشتری شده و تا اقدامات تشخیصی و درمانی بموقع و زود هنگام امکان‌پذیر شود. Introduction: Nowadays Low birth weight(LBW or birth weight<2500g) is one of the most serious problems among children around the world. The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the growth parameters(weight, height, head circumference and BMI) of LBW children at the age of five years with normal birth weight (NBW: birth weight: 2500- 4000 g) children. Methods: In a cross-sectional analytic study, growth parameters of five year-old children referred to Azadshahr health care center in Yazd, Iran, from December 2008 to June 2009 were evaluated. NBW and LBW children were selected as control and case groups, respectively. Results: Means of all growth parameters were significantly lower in LBW group. Frequency of severe failure to thrive and short stature was significantly higher in LBW group. Frequency of underweight was higher in LBW group and frequency of obesity was higher in NBW one. Frequency of underweight was higher in LBW girls.
