fa بررسی مراحل و میانگین سن شروع بلوغ در پسران شهر یزد عمومى General پژوهشي Original article مقدمه: عوامل مؤثر در شروع بلوغ کودکان ، ژنتیک، سلامت جسمی، نژاد و منظقه جغرافیایی است و سن آن در مناطق مختلف دنیا یکسان نمی‌باشد. هدف از انجام این تحقیق، بررسی سن شروع بلوغ و مراحل پیشرفت آن در پسران دانش آموز شهر یزد بود. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی– مقطعی با روش نمونه گیری خوشهای تصادفی، 1018 نفر دانش‌آموز پسر 16-9 ساله از نظر علائم بلوغ و بروز علائم ثانویه جنسی با استفاده از طبقه بندی تانر بررسی شدند. نتایج: سن متوسط شروع رشد تستیکول (G2) و موهای پوبیس(PH2) به ترتیب 54/157/11 و 07/143/12 سال بود. سن متوسط مرحله نهایی رشد تستیکول (G5) و موهای پوبیس(PH5) به ترتیب 8/043/15 و 1/169/15 سال بود. میانگین BMI در مرحله شروع بلوغ (G2) 02/2 32/16 بود. نتیجه‌گیری: در این مطالعه میانگین سنی شروع بلوغ در پسران براساس رشد تستیکول 5/11 سالگی است و زمان آغاز بلوغ با اکثر مطالعات انجام شده در سایر کشورها مشابه می‌باشد. واژه های کلیدی: بلوغ، مراحل بلوغ، علائم ثانویه جنسی Introduction: Genetic and health factors along with ethnicity and geographic location are factors that affect the time of puberty onset. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the mean age of onset of puberty and its stages in boys of Yazd. Methods: This cross- sectional study with random clustering sampling method was conducted on 1018 healthy 9-16 years old male students of Yazd. All cases were examined and evaluated for onset and secondary characters of puberty with inspection of the genital region for pubic hair and scrotum and testicular size according to Tanner classification. Results: The mean age of G2 (onset of testicular growth) and PH2 (onset of pubic hairs growth) was 11.57±1.54 and 12.43±1.07 years. The mean age of G5 (final stage of testicular growth) and PH5 (final stage of pubic hairs growth) was 15.43±0.8 and 15.69±1.1 years. The mean BMI in the early stages of puberty (G2) was 16.32±2.02. Conclusion: The mean age of onset of puberty (G2) in boys of Yazd was 11.5 years that is similar to other researches in other countries.
